I have been to mission tours for years now, here in Transylvania, in the Carpathian basin, Europe and also overseas. I could see everywhere that there is a tremendous hunger in men and women for real heart-to-heat solace and encouragement, for Christian hope and love. Each summer we go out to visit the towns and villages of a region. We go in twos like the apostles, with empty pocket but with cheerful loving heart, visit the churches, the families and talk with people. We go where we are invited. Our only objective is to love cheerfully, with sincere goodwill everyone with whom Providence brings us together. It is my experience that the Lord of Life is always present with His benedictions when God’s children come together freely and cheerfully.
